About:  Nicki Wilson Fitness is a place for training and transforming women. Not just in the physical sense, but in every sense. Finding time to work on the physical, brings a peace of mind, which trickles down into the rest of your daily life. And having fun makes it that much sweeter.


About me:  I love fitness, yes. But I love people more.  I grew up in dance classes, teaching and choreographing. A natural step after college was teaching group fitness. My friends would gather in small groups early in the morning and ask me to tell them what to do for their work out, I realized I loved that even more.  Seeing my friends laugh and sweat simultaneously made me happy. After the birth of my first baby, I realized two things:

  1. Motherhood is a beautiful, amazing, confusing and overwhelming thing that leaves you little time for yourself.
  2. Your body is forever changed.

Making sense of these two things was difficult. It only got harder with each subsequent baby, and it seems to be a universal concept among mothers.  I would hear women cry and mourn over their former bodies, begging me to help them regain what they once had.  My path is set before me as a trainer who not only wants women to be in the best shape they can be, but also wants them to embrace their bodies for what they are NOW and not something it was in the past! That’s truly what drives me. Not big muscles and perfect eating habits.
